Chemistry

The word chemistry, as it is written today, originates from the Greek χημεία chimeía and was first used in this sense by Johann Joachim Lange (in the years 1750–1753). The history of chemistry goes way back. Without this science which deals with elements and compounds, there would hardly be any of the products which we take for granted in our highly-developed world

We pay close attention to the modification of organic and inorganic elements and compounds. The objective is to form and functionalize new compounds and to give existing starting chemicals new properties and effects. As well, the development of methods of synthesis of new compounds and compositions are an important aspect of our work.
